A busy salon with empty chairs
Atelier Hair runs two locations with eleven stylists. Their books looked full, yet every week ended with gaps: last minute cancellations that nobody had time to fill, and calls that rang out while stylists were with clients.
What they changed
Atelier switched on Hollis for every incoming call and turned on the waitlist. When a client cancels, Hollis offers the slot to the next person on the list by text and books whoever replies first.
Every call answered, including during the lunch rush
Cancellations offered to the waitlist within a minute
Rebooking reminders sent six weeks after each colour appointment
We used to lose the slot and the client. Now the slot is filled before I have finished the blow dry.
The results
In one quarter, Atelier filled 120 chairs that would have stayed empty, and phone bookings grew by 34%. The front desk now spends its time on clients in the salon, not on the phone.
